Pat,
Once again, thank you so much. The reference to the sister in law, Mary Smalling, led me to Mary Johnson, wife of Gilbert Smalling. (Different Johnson's than Miles). That led me to the will of David Johnson of Lexington, which listed his children - Miles, Amanda, Orrin and Hannah. I've been tracking Miles's origins for over a year now. David Johnson's will can be found at :
