"I've figured out many of the relationships listed in her will. Here's what I have:
Hettie Deyoe, wife of Corydon Bushnell was a daughter of Peter Deyoe and Cornelia C. Gardenier. She was born 03 Aug 1816 at Rensselaer County, New York. She married Corydon on 05 Jun 1844 at Reformed Dutch Church of Schodack at Muitzeskill.
Those mentioned in her will:
1. Georgia A. Skinkle/Bushnell - adopted daughter of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell, wife of William H. Deyoe (son of Daniel Deyoe and Jane Martin).
2. Mary Jane (Deyoe) Whitman - sister of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell
3. Betsey (Deyoe) Schermerhorn - sister of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell
4. Charity (Deyoe) Bell - sister of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell
5. Delany (Deyoe) Chichester - sister of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell
6. Christina (Deyoe) Henderson - sister of Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell
7. Hettie A. Beakman/Isaac Beakman - niece of Hettie
8. Sarah and Corydon Whitman - children of sister Mary Jane (Deyoe) Whitman
9. Hettie Deyoe (dau. of Urial) - first cousin of William H. Deyo (husband of Georgia Skinkle).
10. Anna Longyear 1858-1886, daughter of Rev. Henry Christopher Longyear and Melissa Bishop. She married William Ephriam Simmons, son of John Simmons and Susan Lawther (possible relative?).
11. Ann (Martin) Benjamin, wife of Horatio Benjamin - daughter of Ira Deyoe Martin and Elizabeth Wolcott. Ira's sister Catherine married Christopher Deyoe and sister Jane married Daniel Deyoe. Elizbeth Wolcott's sister Mary/Polly was married to a Peter Deyoe (b. ca 1801 and living in Carroll Co., IL in 1870). Horatio Benjamin was next door neighbor (1910 Colchester Twp., Delaware Co.) to Edward D. Deyoe, grandson of Daniel and Jane (Martin) Deyoe.
12. Moses Benjamin - Relationship unknown, however his two daughters were buried next to Hettie (Deyoe) Bushnell. Relative to Bushnells? He married Fanny ? Moses was born c 1811 at Windam. Fanny b. c 1810 Greene Co.. Moses married 2nd Charlotte Happy, 1859 Ulster Co.
12. Willie Alleben b. c 1864. In 1870 he lived four houses away from Hettie Deyoe Bushnell. Parents Rev. William M. and Martha Alleben of Lexington, NY. Relationship, if any, is not known.
13. Mary Montross - b. 13 Jan 1838, d. 17 Jul 1927. Wife of Iretus D. Newton (witness on Corydon Bushnell's will and probably related to Bushnells). She was a daughter of Adam Montross and Nellie Richtmyer, who 1870, lived three houses away from Lucretia Deyoe (wife of a Peter Deyoe). In 1870 Mary was aged 32 living with parents as dressmaker. Lucretia was aged 73 and a tailoress. Mary was living with Hetty and Corydon in 1865 as a "servant," so they she is probably not related but did hold a special place for Hettie to include her in her will."
