Kenneth: John Canfield Palmer was born the 12th of May 1801 his parents were John Palmer and Statira Canfield. She was the daughter of Phineas Canfield and his 1st wife Anne (Amy) Newton. John and Statira had 8 children John being the oldest (DAR). John Canfield Palmer was married 3 times the 1st to Jane Canfield. They were md. June 1824 she died 15 June 1828 (have 2 translation of gravestone one says died in 20th year done by Vetter and the more recent one says 26). I have been searching for parents. 2nd wife is an UNKOWN have my suspicions but where ever she is buried it will have her 1st name, maiden and wife of J. C. Palmer / or John C. Palmer as he buried his 1st and 3rd. He md her somewhere bet. 1828-1834. They had 4 ch. He md. Mary Ann Johnson 13 Nov. 1847 Hunter, Greene Co., NY had 6 ch. Lorraine Barden
