Author John M. Ham reports that copies of his 2008 book, "One Hundred Years on 'Resort Ridge' - The Legendary Mountain Hotels of the Northern Catskills," is sold out.
Local stores that still may have a few copies include the Windham Pharmacy and the Catskill Mountain Country Store, both in Windham; Rip Van Winkle Outfitters in Tannersville; the Catskill Mountain Foundation Bookstore in Hunter; and the Empire State Railway Museum in Phoenicia, which is closed for the winter.
