I never followed him back that far. But I'll be glad to investigate. I do know that he was in the 175th infantry Company D during the Civil War. He enlisted at Plattsburg in Sept of 1864 and was released from the hospital on May 11, 1865.
He had a daughter Betsey by his first wife Susan Goodspeed.
