Hi Nancy,
I found the obit for Katherine A. Mullin Gibbs. She d on 14 Jul 1919 at St. Joachim's hospital at 68 yrs. It says she was b at Sterlingville, NY on 13 Mar 1851, daughter of David and Elizabeth Sullivan Scanlin. George Mullin passed away 23 yrs prior and Henry Gibbs d 12 yrs prior. She left 2 sons, Leon W. Mullin (he married Gertrude C. Crouch) of Watertown and J. M. Mullin of Boston, Mass, one grandson Pearle J. Mullin (son of Leon and Gertrude); 2 brothers James Scanlin of Carthage and David Scanlin of Lake Bonaparte (he married Susan M. Clark who was b in Wilna on 10 Jan 1865, daughter of John and Mary Clark. Married David Scanlin in Carthage on 28 Oct 1865). She had five sisters; Mrs. E. O. Andrus; Mrs. W. C. Bull and Mrs. C. E. Andrus all of the town of Turland and Mrs. Seth Lord of Adams Center and Mrs. J. J. Sheehan of Utica. She is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery.
