I am looking for someone who would be willing to lookup some info for me. My ancestors William Yates died in 1848 in Jefferson County, NY. He still had young children. His wife Hannah had died in 1841. I found two of his children with the Sheldon Family in the 1850 census in Hounsfield. I am looking for the Guardianship papers in hopes of finding out the names of the other children. I have John Perry Yates and Mary Jane Yates living with the sheldons. I am willing to pay for parking, copying, gas,. Please, I live in Louisiana and no chance of making it to NY.
