Information needed on John Matteson b. Oct 17, 1780 in
Clarendon, Rutland Co. Vermont d. 1879 in Hermon, Jefferson
co. NY married Sarah (?) sometime before 1802 in Vermont
John and Sarah moved to NY in 1827 from VT. Children 1.
Alfred b. Feb. 6, 1802 2. Albert b. Feb. 6, 1803 3. Francis
b. Nov. 12, 1804 4. Erastas b. April 5m 1808 5. Louisa
born August 8, 1810 all in Clarendon, Rutland Co. Vermont
Did they also have a son named Laban Norton Matteson b.
1812??? Mother seemed to think so many years ago. I found
this among her notes. Laban married Clarissa Daniels in 1836
in Ny then lived in Bennington Co. Vermont. They had 6 childen: 1. Rhoda Clamena 2. Oscar Johnson 3. Martha A.
4. Albert Norton 5. Andrew Laban 6. John King.
Sarah was living with son Alfred in the 1850 census.
