In 1888 Mr. Johan Knopp emigrated from Sweden to New York. His original name was Johannes Andersson. He was born in the Skaraborgs county in Sweden the 19:th of April 1848. Married to Anna Stina, born the 19:th of December 1847. They had 5 children: Ida, Karl, Hilda, Hanna and Sigrid. Johan Knopp goes back to Sweden in 1888. Ida and Karl emigrates to North-America in 1893 and 1892 respectively. In 1896, Hilda emigrates to Chicago. In 1902 Johan and his wife emigrates to North-America for good. There is an information that the family changed their surname to Vedberg the year before the final emigration. After here there are no trace of the family. Does anyone know anything about this family ?

Thanks for any information, Ingemar
