Searching for information regarding my gr. gr. grandfather John Hanson's parents. It is thought he was born N. H. Moved to New York prior to 1850. The NY 1850 census lists his family and indicates a Tobias Hanson age 77 temperarily living in the same residence. To much of a coincidence back in those days. I have traced Tobias to Carroll county N. H. No additional information available. And no conformation of his relationship to John. Any information would be appreciated.
