There is a Jessee Hillyard in Hammond, St. Lawrence Co.NY in 1840. In the household are: 1 male under 5, 1 male 20 & under 30, and 1 female 15 & under 20.

There are some other Hillyards w/ various spellings in that county. One in particular might be of interest to you. Minor Hillyard/ Hilliard is in St. Lawrence Co. from at least 1820 and his household enumerations have a son of the right age to at least take a look at him.
