I am looking for the 1900 or 1910 census for Dietrich Hinsch (later spelled Hensch). Dietrich was born in the Hannover Province of Prussia/Germany in 1858. He married Auguste Ahrens in Germany and had two sons Nicholas 1881 and John (Johann) 1889. Dietrich emigrated to Brooklyn, New York in the fall of 1889. Auguste followed with the boys in January 1890. Dietrich was a harness maker by trade. I cannot find them in the 1900 census as a family. I cannot find Dietrich in the 1910 census. Auguste may have died in 1905. Still trying to confirm it. I have found son John (now Hensch) living with Nicolas H. Mollenhauer in Brooklyn in the 1910 census. I believe Mollenhauer is actually his brother and they both changed their names. Dietrich information in the two census would be very helpful in tracking him. I have him in the 1920 census. He died in 1926.
