Many thanks for that.

It looks like Freeborn was Sarah's married name and that Jennifer was her daughter who married an unknown but deceased Rossiter.

Is Jennifer in the 1860 Census as Jennifer Freeborn please? Could not find her in the 1880 Census.

Hoping that I might find the father and use that info to find out what Sarah's maiden name is via a marriage record or on an internet search.

Is there a marriage record for Jennifer or a Rossiter death record in New York presumably between 1869 and 1900 please?

May have to add this to the list of the unresolved cases !!LOL!!
