Hello Judith.

I believe we are probably distant relations. My father was Giovanni Pugliese. He was called and known by 'Jack'. He and several of his brothers moved to So. Jersey before WWII and changed their name to Gleason for work reasons. The ones who moved to Jersey were Vito, Victor, Leon and Danny. We moved to So Calif in '55. My dad's brother Dominic and sister Annette were already there. They went before the war.
Anyway, please get in touch if we are the same Pugliese line and from what you wrote I'm sure we are.
