Dear Vicky,
You are an angel. This has been very difficult because I have so little family lore to go on. My grandfather died in the 1918 flu epidemic & my grandmother had nothing to do with the family after that. Her mother-in-law, Nancy Hendricks, was a nightmare. I've often thought that that was why the boys left.
Three brothers went to Rochester & they were disowned for doing that dastardly deed!!! I was told it was Canniff, Howard, & Davis. Obviously that was wrong & instead of Kenneth it was William W.
However, now I have something to work on & a place to at least start.
I had thought that Canniff would be easy to find because the name is so unusual - but no luck.
Thank you so much for your help. I can never thank you enough. If I can ever do anything to give you a hand from up here, please just holler.
Donna
