Have you found members of your Reese family migrating to Niagara County, NY? There is a Mary Reese aged 7 b. NYS, in the 1850 census in the household of Andrew and Mary Dobson of Royalton. I suspect Mary is the granddaughter of Mary Dobson who was born 1786/7 in Herkimer County. Mary(Maria) Dobson's first husband was Thomas Weil/Wiles/While(s) who died after June 1830 in Niagara County. I believe one of the daughters of Thomas and Maria/Mary ___Weil married a Reese/Reece/Reice. Many neighbors in Niagara county were familiar Montgomery County names: Nellis, Van Slyke, Miller, Haight, etc.
