Were there 2 Jesse GREEN's in Oneida Co. NY about 1800-1820?
I am trying to identify if Jesse GREEN who came from East Greenwich RI to Shaftsbury VT to Springfield NY to Whitestown in Oneida Co. is the same as the Jesse GREEN found in the Paris, Oneida Co. 1814 list of land owners.
The first Jesse had a daughter Betsey who married Samuel OLIN in Whitestown on Dec. 1815.
The second Jesse of Paris later moved to Granby Oswego Co.
He was married twice. 1st to UNKNOWN & second to Patience (Strong) JOHNSON. Widow of Asa JOHNSON.
In 1811 he sold property to his stepson, John B JOHNSON.
