I would appreciate any information concerning Jesse L. FOX. I know he is listed in the Oneida county Roll of Honor for WWI, but the only source I have found so far has been through Internet subscriptions. I believe he died in the war, but would like more information. Here is what I have so far: Jesse L. FOX, son of William FOX and his wife Grace ROVENBURG(?), born in Oriskany Falls, Oneida county, New York on 14 July 1893. Married Iva Adella BROWN, daughter of Frank David BROWN and Elizabeth Lovina JONES. Iva was born March 1893 in Battle Creek, Calhoun county, Michigan. Iva and Jesse were married 19 October 1912 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo county, Michigan. Witnesses were Iva's father and brother Clarence Everett BROWN. Clarence was drafted and died of disease during the war. Jesse's WWI draft registration was completed on 5 June 1917, listing him as married with one child. Son Robert L. Fox was born about 1914 in Michigan. At the time of his registration, Jesse was residing at 1606 Dudley, Utica, Oneida county, New York. He was listed as a toolmaker for West End Brew. Iva FOX was listed as widowed and living with her parents and son Robert during the 1920 census of Battle Creek, Michigan. She remarried there on 24 January 1920 to Henry Myers Walker, and was listed with him and son Robert in the 1930 census of Battle Creek. Thank you! Notify Administrator about this message?
