At the http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html site a search for Schuchardt brings up many hits in the old newspapers there. You can also search by first & last name with the name in quotes ie: "George Schuchardt", using the "exact phrase" search. You may have to experiment a bit. I found a lengthy obit for Edward Sorge whose daughter was Mrs. George Schuchardt which names his wife, Minna Klein & his birthdate/place (June 23, 1847 in Wahlaungen(?), Thuringia, Germany)
