The 1790 census of Canadaigua includes Joshua and Nathan Herrington. In 1800 they are living in Farmington and there is also an Elias and Abraham Herrington. I am interested in the relationship of these four individuals. My ancesor Sarah Herrington married Simeon Brant. In 1810-1820 they are living in Palmyra next door to Elias Herrington. Elias appears to have been about 10 years older than Sarah so I am assuming they may have been brother and sister.
