I am not sure of my connection. Sarah Harrington or Herndon married Simeon Brant or Brandt or Bryant. There were from Ontario Co. NY and came to Michigan about 1840. You can read my files on both familes at www.geocities.com/wbrackett14 I have not been able to pin down Sarah's parents or even if she was a Herrington or Herendeen (Herndon). Once in Michigan the last name is written Brant or sometimes Brandt and actually may come from the Rhode Island Brand family. Thanks for the response.
