I am interested in Edward P. Sheffield my gg grandfather born NY 1819 m. Elizabeth. Shown in US census Phelps, Ontario, NY in 1850. I would like to know more about his family including parents and grandparents and where they came from. I can trace Edward and Elizabeth from the time they migrated to Michigan after 1850 then until their deaths in the early 1900's in Michigan.

Would appreciate any information.
