I am looking for a Vought family of Orange County, New York. The difficulty is enhanced by the lact of the first names.
The family was living in Westchester County, but went to Orange county sometime after 1810. The son of the individuals I am looking for was Jacob Vought who was born in Westchester County in 1810, but said his family went to Orange County where his father (Possibly John C.) died in 1819 and his mother died in 1823. He may have had brother named Nicholas; and a relative named Francis (born in 1791).
It this matches anyones's research I would like to hear from you.
