Vail, Veal genealogy

I'm searching for the origins of Nehemiah Veal who appears on the 1790 census of Dutchess Co. New York. I read an article saying that some of the Dutchess Co. Vails are descended from the Jeremiah Vail line through his grandson Samuel who was the son of John Vail, son of Jeremiah and his wife Grace Braddick. John's sons Josiah, Samuel, and Benjamin were described by Alfred Vail as the "Orange Co." Vails. Have any of you Orange Co. people ever heard of Nehemiah Vail, or maybe Obadiah Vail (Another brother of Samuel's?
