Benjamin Smith, Jr. and wife Anna Clark

hope someone out there can help me!

have been searching for quite awhile for this sister of my ggg-grandfather: Anna Clark b. 22 Aug 1782 d. 1815 in Orange Co., NY.

she is in her father's household in the 1800 Minisink, Orange Co., NY census:

James Clarky 3rd - males: 1<10, 1 10-15, and 1 45>
females: 2<10, 1 10-15, 2 16-25, 1 26-45, and 1 45>

males are: Joseph age 9
James Jr. age 14
James Sr. age 54
females are: Rebecca age 7
Lydia Clark b. 7 Feb 1800, daughter of Seth and Mary Fenton Clark, son of James Sr.
Sarah 2nd age 12
Deborah age 16
Anna age 18
Mary Fenton Clark age 21, wife of Seth Clark
Betty Bouton Clark, James' wife age 48.

Seth had probably gone to survey out Ovid, NY along with his younger sister, Elizabeth and her husband Timothy Green; this is the only reason I can come up with as to why Seth Clark is not in the census for that year, and his wife and newborn are still in Orange Co. NY

back to Anna. she married Benjamin Smith some time after the 1800 census and before her parents moved to Ovid in 1802.

Benjamin Smith, Jr. is found on the same census page as her parents in Minisink, Orange Co., NY along with a Benjamin Smith (Sr.) a few households above him on the same page.
Benjamin already has a family in the 1800 census, and his wife probably died shortly after the 1800 census, and he married Anna Clark before 1802.

in the 1800 census Benjamin had the following numbers:
males: 2>10, and 1 26-44
females: 1<10, 1 16-25, and 1 26-44

after Benjamin and Anna married they had two children before she died in 1815: James and Mary Ann. I do not know their birth dates or who they married.

if there is ANYONE out there who can help me solve this mystery family member of my family, I glady accept your help.

thanks, Bev
