I did receive an e-mail from someone and it was a 1880 census for Earlville,La Salle, Ill.

It shows the following:
Relation sex marr race age birthplace
Elizabeth B. Cooper self F W W 66 NY
Occ. keeping house Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

James V. Cooper son M S W 20 MI
Occ. laborer Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

Myrtle A. Cooper daug. F S W 14 MI
Occ. at home Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

Henry C. Higgins Gr.son M S W 16 MI
Occ. at home Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

Bessie M. Higgins Gr.daug. F S W 7 MI
Occ. at home Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

Harriet M. Higgins daug. F S W 46 NY
Occ. servant Fa/B NY Mo/B NY

According to this information Elizabeth would have been born about 1814 and she would have been about 52yrs old when she had Myrtle abt. 1866. James was born in 1860 which would have made her 46yrs old when she had him. It looks as if Harriet is her daug. and was born in NY in 1834. So, they left NY after 1834. But Harriet's children and James and Myrtle were all born in MI between 1860 and 1873. They probably moved to Ill sometime between 1873 and 1880 and during this time Elizabeth's husband Ashil must have died, because she is widow in this census. Still not sure if he died in Ill., or MI, or in between. Also this doesn't show a husband for Harriet, it shows her as single, not sure what would have happened to her husband or where he would be buried either. For some reason it's been difficult to track this family. Elizabeth Betsy Swarthout Cooper is my gggm.

If anyone has info on this family it would be great, I keep hitting brick walls.
