No, no relation..that I currently know of anyway! I do periodically check many of the NY County Boards, Orleans, Erie, etc. as my ancestors, SNELL, STANTON, RIFENBARK, were from the NY area..
And, so many people have helped me in my family search that I do like to 'return the favor' to someone else when it's possible.
Incidentally, the Orleans County, NY GenWeb site is a WONDERFUL source if any of your people settled in that area.
