Thank you for your response and info.
By 1930, my grandparents had separated. I found my mother in a Girl's Training School in Hudson, NY and two of her siblings in a Protestant Home for Unprotected children. I found my grandmother living as a servant of Roy Petrie and his mother
I need to find the New York State census records to help fill in some blanks, and hopefully clear up some puzzles I've run into with the Federal census.
I was raised and still live in Orleans County and use their website often. This side of my family spent most of their lives in the Lockport, Niagara County area.
