Looking for any information on Daniel Morris, born 1819 in Ridgeway, NY, or his parents, David Morris and Experience Field - married in 1813 in Sodus, NY. David Morris and Experience Field Morris had a large family.
David Morris is listed in the 1820 Federal Census "Burned Over District, NY" - "David Morris, Genesee (later Orleans) County, Ridgeway Township.
David Morris is listed in the 1830 census as dwelling in Murrey, near Ridgeway.
Experience Field Morris died about 1832 at age 40.
Son, Daniel, was apprenticed to a cobbler, his great uncle, when he was about 11. He ran away at age 14. One account gives his father's name as "David Morehouse."
