Lanson LAKE: Both year of birth ca 1804 and state NY are consistent in Federal Census from 1840 thrugh 1870. There is a Lanson LAKE listed in the Schoharie, Schoharie NY 1830 Federal Census; there is also a Lanson Lake listed as a grocer in the 1830 Albany City directory. At this point I am assuming that the Lanson LAKE above is the one I want. I have a great deal of information about Lanson LAKE, from 1830 through 1870. It is based on three things: His birth year is consistently ca 1804; his birth state is NY; his occupation is a confectioner. Unknown l. Place of birth, parents, sibs as well as date and place of death, when and where buried. 2. Wife b in Ohio her name, date & place of birth, parents, sibs are unknown.. Is there anyone who can help?
