Thanks for info. I found the maiden name of Harid from a tree on Ancestry.com. The person who submitted it is no longer available or has changed his e-mail address. I had no info on Laura's maiden name prior to that. It's very likely Harid is in error, at least the first 3 letters are the same. It could be a case of very bad handwriting and Harvey became Harid. There are 5 Harvey families in Herkimer Co. in the 1830 census, none named Harid. Your info that Benjamin was born in Frankfort looks even more helpful as there is only 1 Harvey family there. Henry & Laura married just prior to 1830, so looks like I have a good lead on who her father was.
