Thanks Pat, that helps! I now have confirmed birth years for my husband's uncles.

Any chance there might be an older Clyde Phillips in the same area? I can't locate the parents of Clyde S Phillips (I think also a "Clyde" (perhaps b. 1878)) or Mary Elizabeth Weller, both sets of parents (if alive) should be in the Oswego area.
