Wm. Odell - Marina LaForge, Cold Spring

My GGGrandmother Marina LaForge b: 1854 married William Odell who is preported to be from the Putnam County (Cold Spring) area. I found Marina in the 1900 census living in NYC with a son and in 1910 in NJ. William was deceased before 1900. Other offspring also moved to NJ (Dumont) and later to Kingston, NY in the late 1920's.
I have been unable to find the ancestors of either of them. Even though 2 census' say born NYC Marina's living granddaughter (94) and my mothers bible say she was born in France.
Looking for clues.
