This is now outdated. I Found my William Odell b:abt 1848 Phillipstown m:Marina LaForge b:3/3/1854 as well as Williams Father, Benjamin Odell B:Phillipstown? abt 1824 m: Louisa (Louise) Barton of Phillipstown b: 5/1826.
I'm now looking for help finding Benjamin's parents which may tie me into the descendants of pilgrim William Odell who settled Westchester County. The 1800 Dutchess Co. census for Phillipstown shows 13 heads of households named Odell. Some of them must be mine.
