Your request is very broad? Narrowing it down some might produce a greater number of replies!

Are you looking for living descendants? Any descendants of your earliest known ancestor of these families? Are these two families related by marriage? I have Fowlers and Woodin/Woodins but not intermarried.

Putnam County was formed out of Dutchess Co. in 1812.

Given names and time frames would be helful and then maybe we all can help each other tie up some loose ends.

From the few indexed records/resources I have seen - Fowler is more common in Putnam than in Wooden.
