I am searching for info on Rebecca "Betsey" Hopkins. She was born ca 1753-1756. She married Ezra Gregory ca. 1774. They lefted NY in 1798 with Wm. Harper's party and helped to establish Harpersfield, OH. I believe that Rebecca Hopkins was from the Carmel, Putnam (Dutchess) Co, NY area. Among Rebecca and Ezra's children where Anna and Jonathan. Anna married David Allen ca 1801 in OH. I have a transcript of a deed showing Jonathan Gregory (Rebecca and Ezra's son) selling land to a Thatcher Hopkins of Carmel. I believe that Thatcher Hopkins was related to Rebecca Hopkins Gregory, maybe a brother. Does anyone have any info this family?
