William Hanyen b. 25 Feb 1778 s/o Thomas Henyan and Mary Mead of Cold Springs (Dutchess Co. now Putnam) was likely the f/o the Sarah Hanyen (various spellings) b. abt 1795 who married Josiah McKeel at Fishkill.

Michael Ogden buried Sparta Presbyterian Churchyard, Ossining,Westchester Co., NY, mentions a granddaughter Sarah Henyon in his will. Was a daughter of Michael Ogden the first wife of William Hanyen? If so, what was her name?

William Hanyen's name appears on land records in Hastings, Ontario, Canada with a William Sarles. Was there a family relationship? William's wife Abigail Weeks was his 2nd or 3rd wife (m. 1819). Who was the mother of William Hanyen's son Thomas (1803-1832) of Phillipsport, Sullivan Co., NY."
