Winfield doesn't exist anymore. Sometime in the past the Post Office divided the area between Elmhurst and Sunnyside. Probably the best way to describe the area is to look at the neighborhood of Queens Blvd from 69 to 74 Streets and look around the area. South of the intersection is 48 Ave and 70 St. There is the cut off point where the Port Washington Branch of the LIRR seperates from the Main Line. That area is known as Winfield Junction.

Are you sure about Washington? According to 2 old copies I have of the Brooklyn Eagle Almanac, (1916 and 1919) There is a Washington St in Flushing now known as 37 Ave and a Washington Ave going from the East River to Northern Blvd. Today known as 36 Ave.
