What is Pearl's maiden name?
I found the following information about this couple from the 1920 and 1930 Queens census records.
John was born in Aug 1881, in NY.
He's the son of Christian and Henderina/Mary Sieglinger (both of Germany).
Pearl was born in 1885 or 1886, in WI.
Pearl's name is transcribed as "Kattie" in the 1930 census.
They had two sons: John C (1911) and Harold K (1914)
I found an entry in the "Grooms Listing" on the Kings Co. website for John Peter Sieglinger. He was married on June 8, 1910, in Queens. When I click on the bride's info, it shows that no info exists.
I suspect that Pearl's maiden name is Simmons and that she's the daughter of Charles Ray Simmons and Harriet E Heath (making Pearl my grandpa's cousin). I just need to confirm my hunch.
