You may want to also post this list at the Nassau County forum because the Town of Oyster Bay has been in Nassau County since January 1, 1899.

On January 1, 1899, the eastern three-quarters of Queens County -- the Town of North Hempstead, the Town of Hempstead and the Town of Oyster Bay -- the part of Queens County that did not become part of New York City on January 1, 1898, secede and form Nassau County.

I hope this information is useful or, at least, interesting.

Happy Shavuot*,
