I am trying to get my daughter into the DAR through her father's family line, David Tuttle, b 1809, Luther Tuthill, Son of Azariah Tuthill.

The only records we have of these connections is in the TUTTLE-TUTHILL LINES IN AMERICA by Alva Tuttle.

The DAR will not accept the book entries nor what is in the IGI. I have been looking for a town record, will, church record, or an old letter which might mention the connections---even a deed from father to son would work.

I have searched ever record for Long Island that I can at long distance via the film from Salt Lake.

Since there was a family reference which said David moved West at an early age, I am now trying to find David in Ohio. So far all I have found is one land record which has him buying government land in Morrow Co, OH in 1832.

I will be happy to share the information that I have on David Tuttle's family with you.

I appreciate any help or clues that you can give me.
