Charles V.E. Swanson b.1874,Stockholm Sweeden. Emmigrated to New York sometime before 1898. Married 1898 to Hilda Lundin(middle name Lillian or Elizabeth). They had 3 daughters,Hilda b.1900,Ethelb.1908,Lillian Carin b.1915. 1918 flu epidemic took lives of wife Hilda and daughters Hilda and Ethel. Charles died in 1919 in Arizona where he was sent to recover. He was a limousine driver for George Jay Gould, the Railroad tycoon.My grandmother Lillian was the only survivor of her family and was raised by her fathers siser Mia Johnson married to an Eric Johnson who was a funeral director in Manhatten at 115 west104th street.Mia and Eric may have had a daughter named Vera. Also my grandmother was raised by her mothers sister Anna Tarnstrum. There was a cousin also named Bety Asplund,that may have had a son named Ellis.Charles and Hilda were married in the Bourrough of Queens and probably lived somewhere near.Any info on these families would be appriciated.
