Do you mean that Hunters Point is the current name of the area or the name of the area in 1869? I'm interested in the name of the area (village) in 1869 so I can look for it in a Directory through LDS. The Curtins Long Island Directory 1871 has the Long Island City listing but before 1870 LIC didn't exist. Thank you for your assitance.
