I am searching for info on my great grands, Joseph Mckee and Eliza Taggert/Taggart McKee. All I know is, they were both born in Ireland..Joseph ca 1857, Eliza ca 1860. They came to America (whether before or after marriage I don't know), and settled someplace in Queens. He was a fireman at the Jackson Ave. firehouse, and I think he was able to walk to work???? The few family members left (his grand children that is), are elderly and cannot even recognize the names now.

Joseph and Eliza had: Joseph A. McKee (NOT acting mayor of NYC!!), John Francis McKee (my grandfather), James, Hugh, and Mary (she married an O'Connor and had a son named Eddie).
