John Christiansen (d.1923) married Lena Schmidt (d.1931). John Christiansen was born in Denmark. From this marriage were two children: Edward Joseph Christiansen (b.19-8-1892; Manhattan, NY d.10-11-1945; Brooklyn, NY) and Mitilda Christiansen (b.4-1891; Manhattan, NY d.11-4-1966; Brooklyn, NY). She married Herman Madler.

Edward Joseph Christiansen married Helen Frances Sullivan. From this marriage were three children: Helen, Frances, and William Christiansen. Helen Sullivan Christiansen died and Edward Joseph Christiansen remarried.

Edward Joseph Christiansen married Margaretha(e) (Mary) Susan Stenger Hanrahan (b.4-8-1896; Brooklyn, NY d. 18-2-1963; Brooklyn, NY). Margaretha(e) (Mary) Susan Stenger Hanrahan Christiansen's father was Louis Valentine Stenger. She had two children from a previous marriage: Michael and Mary Hanrahan. Edward and Margaretha(e) (Mary) were married in Brooklyn, NY on 19-6-1933. From this union of marriage were born two children: Edward and Joan Christiansen.

I am trying to obtain information on the Christiansen and Stenger side. If you have any information, please don't hesitate to e-mail me.
