Dear Robert-- Thank you for this information about New York divorce and about the spelling of Lansingburgh. Unfortunately, there are many incorrect spellings of the city's name in census data and elsewhere. Not being from the area, I did find the conflicting spellings confusing. But now we know. Thanks so much! I guess you are saying that since 100 years has passed, a person from out of state [such as myself] may request these records. That's good. Take care!
