I am researching a great grand mother whose death certificate states she was born in Kinderhook, NY.
Her name Charlotte (unknown) Hall born January 3, 1804(?) died September 5, 1888 in Brooklyn.
Home in 1870: Brooklyn Ward 11, Kings, New York (living with daughter Frances Boyd in 1870) - Death Certificate states both parents were born in "New York State" and that Charlotte was a resident of Brooklyn for 40 years. Also states that she was being buried in Albany, NY.
Married to Van Rensalaer Hall, born 1804, died September 30, 1857...buried at Cypress Hills National Cemetary.

I have been unable to find out Charlotte's maiden name and any additional information on Van Rensalaer Hall who was a marinier.
I was hoping someone may have some information that may help point me in the right direction
