Hello,
It's been awhile since I had time to do anything with my genealogical search and I've been out of touch with record repositories. Staten Island is a different area for me to check too.
An online search has revealed that the FHL has filmed a lot of the Richmond Co records, but I don't really want to wait for the films to go back and forth (index, and then individual films)
Can anyone tell me what the policies of the Richmond Co Surrogate Court are concerning an estate administration in the early 1950s? Anything special I should know?
