I would like to know which cemeteries in Port Richmond existed in October of 1795.
On October 25th, 1795 a ferry boat capsized off Ryer's Ferry landing and 8 people drowned. I am attempting to find out if the bodies were recovered and were buried individually or in a mass grave somewhere in Port Richmond.
The names of the people were Moses Tucker, William Hutchins, Simeon Day, Thomas Lane, John Hole, Thomas Shaw, Mrs. Sarah Parker, and a stranger.
