Staten Island newspapers or books from the October 1795 time frame

I am interested in knowing if any Staten Island newspapers or books still exist or were transcribed from the October 1795 era. I am especially interested in the sudden storm that occurred on October 25th, 1795. This storm caused a ferry boat to sink off Ryer's Landing with the loss of several lives. I have seen several contemporary accounts of this event, but they do not mention whether the bodies were ever recovered. I have written to the Reformed Church on Port Richmond Avenue which was directly across from Ryer's landing in 1795 to see if any/all of the bodies might be buried there in a mass grave, but to date the church people have/will not respond to my queries. Phone calls go unanswered.

Any help would be much appreciated. Bob
